• Authentication Information: We support OTP (One-Time Password) logins. When you request an OTP, we collect and process your mobile phone number or email address to authenticate your session.
• Account Details: When you complete your profile or register for an auction, we collect your name, email address, optional player characteristics (batting/bowling styles, base prices), and uploaded profile/avatar pictures.
• Uploaded Assets: Images uploaded for player photos, team logos, and auction banners are securely processed and stored on our media distribution networks (Cloudflare R2).
• Push Notifications: If you grant permission, we collect and store your Expo device push tokens to deliver live room alerts and bid notifications.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain our live auction draft scoring platform.
• Authenticate user identity, manage active roles (viewer, auction owner, super admin), and synchronize workspaces in real-time.
• Process and coordinate player registrations, squad rosters, and private shortlists.
• Send real-time bid alerts and major live-room status changes via WebSocket or push notifications.
• Analyze usage trends and debug platform diagnostics.

3. Data Storage and Third-Party Services

CricBid utilizes high-security third-party cloud infrastructure to run the service:

• Database: We store profile metadata, draft data, and OTP records in MongoDB Atlas.
• Storage: Uploaded user content is saved to Cloudflare R2 bucket storage.
• SMS OTP: Mobile SMS logins are processed using MSG91 when operating in India.

4. Account Deletion Policy

We respect your right to control your personal data. Any signed-in user can request account closure and deletion directly from the platform:

• Navigate to the Account Settings route.
• Select the Delete Account option and confirm your request.
• Our systems will delete or anonymize your personal user record, user profile photos, and push registry from the active database.

5. Children's Privacy

CricBid does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
